channel balance

Question

I am looking for 2 complete channel balances for my non-tilt Millguard window. The sliding window weighs between 25-30 lbs. I have included pictures of the channel balance I removed from the window. I question if it was the right balance to begin with as it may have been replaced before. I measured the metal part of the balance and it is 1/2" wide and 33" long.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S380-33 or S385-33 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

You'll also need 3240 spring strength options for your replacement balances to support a sash between 23-28 lbs. Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
