Code on my old channel is: 28 3 AV CMC 7

When I measure I have: width 1/2"
Length (metal only) 29"

Your series match is 395

It sounds like you've done a lot of the leg work identifying the S395-29 with a 2830 spring strength option based on your existing stamp number. We'd be happy to confirm that this is the correct replacement for you if you'd like to send over a photo of an undamaged balance removed from the window. Thank you!
