Hello, im trying to buy this part but have no idea what weight it holds or what model it is. Measuring it from end to end without measuring the rubber parts, measures at 23 inches long and half an inch wide.

Thanks for posting. I am confident we can help, but can you send photos of the rest of the 'underside' of the metal channel, or where the spring and guts are? Some balances from the west coast have a special design we must account for. We'll do our best to help from there.

Perfect, thank you. This looks like either an S380-23 or S385-23. The only difference between these two channel balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. See below. Measure your old balance's shoe depth to see what matches best. For a stamp option choose 2240.
