Channel balance 27 9 IV CMC 7

Hi I need to replace a channel balance on my Jordan Window. It measures 29" not including the end pieces. Photos of the entire unit, the end pieces and the markings on the back are attached.

I believe you have either our Series 390 or Series 351 depending on the size of the bottom shoe. I would also confirm the length of the metal channel. Based on your stamp, it should be 28" long, not 29".

You are correct. I made a mistake on the measurement. The metal portion of the channel balance is 28" in length (27 & 15/16" to be exact). The bottom shoe is exactly 1" in length.

That fits the description of the S351-28.

Thank you. I am unsure which of the stamp options to select from the list given on your web page for the S351-28. The marking on the back of my channel balance (shown in one of the pictures I sent earlier in this thread) looks to me like: "27 9 IV CMC 7". I don't know how to translate that to one of the numbers shown in your company's list of stamp options.

There's no need to try to relate the number on your balance to our options. This 27 9 doesn't correspond to anything in particular in our system. You'll need to weigh your window sash and compare to the chart on the S351-28 product page.
