channel balance replacement

A home owner from San Antonio says:
A handyman looked at 2 windows in the house that would not stay opened after pushing the windows up. He said both windows need the same part replaced. I attached pictures of the part. BFS is printed on the windows as the manufacturer and the number on the part is 27 4 FW CMC 4. The windows are about over 14 years old.

Hi Chris, Thanks for posting! Based on your pictures, I think our Series 385 looks like the right match. I would double check the size of the bottom shoe. The 15-005 is 1" deep, but the 15-004 is 1-3/32".

Your stamp of 27 4 usually corresponds to our 2740 option, but you can always get the exact weight of your sash to confirm.
