channel balance replacement

Thank you for your inquiry. We'd like for you to take a look at both our S380-14 and S385-14 channel balances. These look identical with the exception of the bottom balance shoe. You will need to measure the depth of your bottom balance shoe, like in the image below, to determine which of these two balances could work in place of your part. As for the stamping, since it doe not match with any of our parts, you will need to remove your sash and weigh it on a scale. From there, refer to the sash weight chart on the product page to decide on the most appropriate option.

A handy person from CA says:

I have the S385-14 1350 picked out but would like your confirmation as the sash (44 3/4 x 16 1/2 dual pane) is 18.6 pounds which is beyond your chart estimates.

The only info on the balance is a printed "13 9 IS CALDWELL"

In this case, you would need to weigh your sash on a scale and refer back to the sash weight chart on the product page in order to determine the correct stamp option for your balance.
