channel balance replacement part

Can you help ID this?
While searching for info about Block and Tackle window balances, I found that “to determine the size of the balance, measure the height of the visible glass only.” And also that “the length of the balance will ALWAYS be 1 Digit HIGHER than the stamp.”
The stamp on the back is “A2200” The visible glass measures 22” so is this balance size too long for my window?

Thanks for writing in! The best way to determine the size of your balance would be to measure the length of the metal channel. I suspect is 23", so that should be the correct balance for you window.

That being said, you'll need the S350-23 channel balance. It is assembled with a 19-002 top and 15-004 1-3/32" shoe.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to cross-reference your stamp with those on our balances, so you'll need to weigh the sash to select the one needed for the replacements. There is a list of stamps and their weight ranges below the product description of the balance.
