I ordered a pair of channel balance (S350-24 option 2310) to replace a broken channel balance. This is a double pane window and seems to be too heavy for this particular channel balance. The window will not stay up. can you please identify the correct channel balance in the S350-24 series for a double pane window with an aluminum frame.

I'm not sure what S350-24 balance will work for you based on this information. It sounds like the 2310 option is way too weak for your sash, though. What was the stamp printed on your old balance? If you aren't sure, or if there is no stamp, you'll have to weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the chart shown on our S350-24 store page. Knowing that the window is double pane and aluminum isn't enough to gauge its weight, unfortunately. You'll have to be as precise as possible, even down to the ounce. That's the only way to know for sure.
