channel balance top for 26 inch 24D

Hi, I can't take a picture installed because it was broken and removed. But the geometry is hopefully still recognized.

The new channel balance that I will buy is #358, (the original is marked 24D) It is 26 inches long(not including the top and bottom plastic pieces). This looks very close to what is there.

But I don't see a Channel Balance Top that looks as simple as the one that was there. It's 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" long.

Any help you can give me will be appreciated. If the exact thing is not available, perhaps there is something where I could cut off unnecessary parts?

Thanks for your patience, Eileen. I'm afraid we have not been able to find a replacement for this top sash guide. It's hard to tell, but is this broken? If so, is there an undamaged version we can see?

Hi,

It's got one section that is broken, if you look at the 2nd picture from the left, which is from the back of the piece, In you can see a small piece of colorful Duct tape, which is holding the broken piece on. It's not all there, the corner is missing, which you can see in the pic on the far right. One corner next to the hold is square, the other one looks curved because there is a bit missing.

What would seem really important is the length and the width. I didn't see another this size, but if you have one, I can try to make that work.

The length and the width are important, but there are a lot of important dimensions when it comes to top sash guides, including hole placement, two different kinds of depth and width of the top cap (which is missing on yours). I may be able to suggest a few replacements without these measurements by just eyeballing yours, but I'd have to see one that is whole and undamaged. I'm afraid I just can't find anything similar to your design if there isn't more to this. You may want to look at our entire selection here to get an idea of what information we need to ID a match.
