channel balance weight

A handy person from Colorado says:
Hi

Attached are photo's of my channel balancer from Kinro window. Note the stamp which I am unable to determine the weight from it...can you? Does the "CMC 50" mean 50 lbs? I am not sure how this applies to the "options" offered in the purchase window. Otherwise the unit seems to be a good fit/replacement to the one I have.

The stamping on your balance appears to read "26-4" which means you will go with a 2640 option. That strength balance will hold up a sash weight of 19-26 pounds. However, if you want to confirm this is the correct spring strength for your window, you can always remove the sash, weight it on a scale, and refer to the sash weight chart listed on the product page.
