My window was up and all of a sudden it dropped down I looked at it and the shoes came out of the channel balance. looks like the shoes left loose tried to hook them back in but would not hold, stamped on channel balance is 30B which on of your products do i order? One other question should I replace channel balance and shoe, or just the shoe?
Do I need to replace the whole balance or just the shoe?

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for posting. A window falling down, or not staying up, is a sign of a bad window balance. We recommend our customers replace the entire balance (including shoes) when something like this occurs. You will want to replace both balances in the window, and not just one. Also be sure to inspect your other windows to be sure the balances are still working properly.
The stamp, in your case "30B", indicates how much weight the balance can support. In order to determine the correct balance Series, remove the balance from the window and take photos of the balance attachments. Upload a few photos so we can take a look. The balance Series is determined by the combination of balance attachments. Be sure to include the length of the metal portion of your balance along with your submission.
