No markings or numbers on part. Overall length 29 inches.
Spring length 13 3/4 inches.

Can you give us the length of the metal portion of the channel balance only? Also, are there any stamps on your balance?

The metal channel length is 28 inches.
On closer examination I found some indentations.

Can you please tell me if the attachment shown in the middle image has wings on them? To get an idea of what I'm referring to, take a look at the 15-004 and 15-005 balance attachments and see if you can determine which one you have.

I really appreciate your help.
I drilled out the rivets to see the plastic parts better. One is # 19-005.
I can not tell the difference in 15-001 & 15-002 on the web page. Mine looks very much like either of them. This fitting has a # 4 molded into the part.

The 15-001 Channel Balance Shoe is a little bigger, with a length of 1 1/8", while the 15-002 has a length of only 1". Do either of these match the measurements of your shoe?

Measuring the shoe parallel with the narrow slot, measurement is 1 1/8.
Measuring perpendicular to the narrow slot, measurement is 1 1/8.
Measuring from the pointed tips across the slot at a slight angle to the largest base of the shoe is exactly 1 inch.

My error on the recent post. those first two dimensions were only 1 1/16 not 1 1/8. Sorry for the error.

Sorry Warren, I'm not sure where you're measuring from. Can you submit a picture of your measurement?

Can you tell which one matches our original? Either the 15-001 or 15-002?

If we go by the coloring in your photos we have 15-002 as our has a beige tint rather than white.
The enclosed photos show direction only as the actual dimensions on a metal scale are 1 1/16 for the first photo and 1 inch for the second.
