This is from a Caldwell window, the metal piece is 27" long, the window is non tilt and 25 4 are the numbers stamped on it. Could you please identify what i need for a replacement? Also need what I think are called take out clips. This is from my daughters and son in law house so I don't have the old assembly in front of me.

You could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need a 2540 spring strength option.
When measuring your balance, make sure to only measure the metal channel. Your stamp is 2540 which means your channel length would actually be 26 inches.
