clean/lubricate double hung vinyl window

Question

Hello, I am having difficulty opening my window. Last summer I sprayed vegtable oil on it to help loosen it up but now, after winter, when I tried to open it up it is very hard. Can I do anything to save it?

It sounds like you most likely need new support balances for your window We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see the original balance assembly removed from the window to compare to our inventory.
