Hi - I want to make some closet doors for my sons room as the opening is an odd shape and I can't find anything sturdy pre-made.
There is a very sturdy looking track already installed on top that I'd like to use - it looks just like the one in your hardware set, except the depth is 1 1/2" (the width is about the same).
Will your rollers work on it? I'm a not-too-handy mom, so I'm hoping I am not getting in too deep. Is is okay if the doors are not solid? Thank you much!
will your rollers work for my closet door hanger

Thanks for posting! Hopefully we can help get your son's closet in working order. I can't really say if our rollers will work for your track without more information, though.
Are there any rollers on the closet now, or is all that hardware missing? If there are, I'd like to see a few pictures of them with some dimensions, if possible. I'd especially need to know the roller diameter and the offset -- that is, how deep the "step" is in the roller plate.
If there are no rollers, it would be a lot harder to say. We could start by getting dimensions of the track itself, namely how tall and deep the channels that will cradle the rollers are.

I don't have the original hardware:( The channels are 7/16" wide at the top from outside edge to outside edge (about 3/8") from inside to inside. It looks like the channels are about 1/4" deep on the inside from top to bottom. The whole thing from ceiling to bottom is about 1 1/2" from inside the track top to bottom about 1 5/8" So very close to the one in your set.

I see. Could we see some pictures of the track itself? The best solution I can offer right now is just replacing the whole kit, but you say it's oddly shaped. Could I see just how odd it is? Maybe we can find a way to work around it.
