My closet doors I`m working on are metal bi folding L series by US Plywood - A division of US Plywood Champion Papers Inc.A really old closet door.I need to replace 4 pins on these doors because they won`t tighten anymore. The pin is 5.5 in. long x .25 in. thick. They have a mechanism that fits through a half in. square hole that tightens the pin into place.I`m missing 2 pins, but I want to replace 5 caps & 5 mechanisms on these closet doors.

Thank you for contacting us.
First, take a look at our Bifold Door Pin Assemblies section. This will help you get started. If you cannot locate a replacement, you can submit a photo of the pin for us to research. |

I wrote to you last week about finding the right parts for my closet doors.I tried sending a picture on my wifes phone, but I guess you never received it.I found a picture on your website, under assesories, metal closet door hardware, there, a picture of 5 parts, I saw what I needed. It was the very top component in that display picture.I clicked there to find that part, but I never found it.It`s the one that is plastic w/ a hole for the pin to slide through, w/ a screw in front to lock the pin in place.

Sorry, we did not receive any pictures. You can try sending them again by attaching the images to a reply in this discussion.
I believe the part you are referring to is the 21-154 pivot rod clamp found in the bifold door pivot bracket catalog section. You can find pins in the bifold door pin assemblies catalog section. |
