coil balance help request

Question

Researched your online catalog for replacement coil--could not locate a replacement coil that has the "notch" type end shown in the photo.
No markings noted on coil nor pivot shoe. No number of pounds marked on the coil. No information on brand of window. Single hung window sash is 17" high by 24 or 30 wide--did not weigh sash yet.
If coil with this type of notch is not available could you recommend a retrofit solution with a different pivot shoe and coil? The size of the current pivot shoe: 9/16" deep X 1 1/4" wide X 1 9/16" high (can use a longer height pivot shoe as the access hole cut in the window channel will fit it).

Hello. Looks like an older version of the 15-140 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 150 Coil Balance springs. You'll need to weigh the window sash and divide the weight in half to determine the proper weight support needed on both sides of the sash. Let us know if you have questions.
