Coil balance assembly for a MI Windows window

A quick learner from Havre de Grace, MD says:
Please excuse my ignorance of the technical terms! The bottom plastic piece of the coil balance assembly is cracked (see bottom of picture). This is the part that the "foot" on the window would sit in, but it slips right through the crack and the window won't stay in the open position. This is an MI Windows window.
