Hello,

I believe you have an older Simoton coil balance that is no longer available. We offer a conversion video shown below that works for both Certainteed and Simonton windows that use this type of assembly. Take a look and let us know if you need anything else. Thanks for posting!

do the coils come with the pivot shoes or do have to order them separately?

The pivot shoes and coils are sold separately. You'll need to purchase all of the pasts mentioned in our conversion video for the new balances to work.

My earlier post was closed. However you told me I can use another brand and retrofit. Can you advise if I need a left hand and right hand. I just need two balances to make it work for the old style. Let me know what I should order. Thank you.

Our coil balance parts are not handed, so you would use the same parts indicated in our conversion video on the left and right sides.
