coil spring replacement

Quick Learner from Richmond, VA
These are from my house at the beach- the salt air has done damage to all of my window springs. I am fairly handy and will probably do this job on my own. Looking at the SWISCO site I think I have determined what these pars are but wanted to check. I think they are: Pivot Bar # 26-175, Spring Cover 15-156, balance drum # 15-157 and Pivot shoe #15-192 and Coil Spring # S170-405. Can you let me know if this is correct?

Also, if I do this job I will need parts for 16 windows- do you have stock of all of these parts?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for posting. Well done, I agree with your entire assessment. This looks like the 15-192 Certainteed shoe, which uses Series 170 Coil Balances. If there is a '5' or '405' stamp on the spring, then the S170-405 5 pound spring is what you need. The pivot bar also looks like an older version of the 26-175. All these parts should be in stock currently. Let us know if you have further questions.

Thanks for the quick response. Is there any reason not to reuse the actual coils? Does the new pivot shoe include the screw for the coil?

Thanks

Coil balance systems are modular, meaning you only need to replace what's broken; so yes, if the old coil spring is not torn or worn, you should be able to reuse it. The 15-192 does not come with new fasteners; either reuse your old ones, or use the 33-072. Let me know if you have any other questions.
