cole sewell lock set

Question

I painted my old cole Sewell storm door model either 2500 or 2550 and it looks pretty good but the lock hardware is a tarnished mess that won't polish. Can I purchase a new lock set? I really need one of these

Looking at the storm door handle plate, I'm thinking that you could have an older Emtek lock set. I believe this handle is no longer available, or at least we have not been able to find a supplier for it. I would suggest using the 40-049 handle set. It is a little different, but I have used it in the past to replace the Emtek handle. Be sure to check the measurements when you judge if the part will work for you.
