How do I tell which color balance I need.  The window that I need them for is 50 inches wide by 30 inches high, single hung, single pane contractors grade window.

Great question. The best way to confirm the color tip you need for your spiral balance would be to have you weigh your window sash on a scale. From there, refer to the chart located on the product page. Correspond the weight number of the sash to the appropriate color bushing.
