correct sash weight option for counterbalance

Handy Person from Beaverton OR
I need a replacement spring counterbalance for a double pane window that is 45 1/2" Wide by 29 1/2" high. From the old/broken one I need a 27" series 385 with 19-005 top and 15-004 shoe. However I don't know the weight of the sash. It turns out one of the takeout clips is missing and I'm hesitant to start jamming things in the hole to get the sash out. Rather than order a clip and then later order the sash I'd like to just order both now if possible to speed things up.

The old spring is stamped "2690A BSI 29" -- from elsewhere on the web this corresponds to 45-48 pound sash weight. However this is not an option on the order page. Can you please advise?

After more web searching I think I have it after all -- the "29" is the sash weight. I placed an order with that assumption. Thanks.

I'm afraid I do not know what your sash weight is based on that information. Weighing the sash is the only way we can know for sure. You can always just install a screw to work as the take out device, then remove it when you're done.
