Window weight 37 lbs
Existing tube 30" long, 5/8" dia
Also, can you tell me how to remove the existing shoe? There is a slot opening in the track but it seems the only way the old one will come out is if I force it out.
Thanks
Tony

Thank you for posting. Before I can recommend an applicable replacement balance, can you first tell me if your window is tilt or non-tilt?
Also, please see our handy tutorial video on the best method of removing a pivot shoe from your window.

Thanks for getting back to us. It sounds like you have something like our S600-30. Does that look about right?
Can you also confirm the weight of your window? The strongest standard option for the S600-30 is the Blue Tip, which can carry a window sash weight range of 12 through 31 pounds. We can go higher, but your balance will have to be custom made. Let me know!
Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

Yes, we can custom make you a spiral balance with a Black Tip. This will carry a window sash weight range of 31 through 40 pounds. I'll go ahead and email you a purchase link and price quote for your review. You can use this to place an order on our website.
