crank mechanism for jalousie windows

Home Owner from Jacksonville, FL
I am missing the handles on these 3 mechanisms. Looking inside, there is a gear to the side. No visible markings on mechanism. Windows are closed and I'm not sure how to remove the mechanism if I need to replace the entire mechanism. Do you have replacement handles? Your help and advise would be very appreciated.

I'm afraid your operator will need to be replaced completely. Replacing the handle alone will not fix this, since the gears are completely stripped out and missing. The problem is, your operator isn't made anymore. Take a look at the 39-411 operator. I believe this is a newer style replacement for the Ware brand window. You will need to remove your operator from the window to see if the link arm and gearing matches up to yours.

I will try the mechanism and I watched the video. Any tips on how to open the window without breaking it?

My suggestion would be to remove the screws in your existing operator and loosen up the operator from the main frame of the window. Hopefully that will allow you to open the window.
