crestline window adjustment help please

Quick Learner
before I start replacing the hinges with products from your company, I was hopeful you would guide me on how to adjust the crestline casement window. As you can see from the photo the bottom part of the window is not flush with the casement- I have included photos of the gap, hinges etc. I have a number of windows with this problem

Thanks for posting! There could be a number of factors causing the gap between the sash and the window sill. It may be just a matter of adjusting the hinge but there is a chance you may replace some of the hardware.

That said, you'll need to start with cleaning the hinge of any debris and then attempting to adjust it using something like the 75-034 Adjustable Hinge Wrench. Our video tutorial titled 'How to replace a 2-Bar Hinge Set', details how to adjust the hinge beginning at the 4:37 minute marker.

Once you've completed this process if you are still experiencing the issue with the gap, it is very likely the issue lies with the operator. So, my next suggestion would be to remove it and then close the window manually. If the window closes just fine, then you'll need to replace the operator.

I've tagged the operators and all of the compatible hardware below so that you can compare their dimensions and confirm that these are the replacements you'll need. If any of your dimensions differ, please let me know and I'll be happy to see if there is a better recommendation.
