different looking balance shoe

A home owner from Austin, Texas says:

Hi, I've ordered several spiral balances from you for my non-tilt aluminum windows. Changed both side balances on one window. It worked great. However, Several of my windows' balance shoes looked different (Photo is attached). Need your help to identify the part and tips for how to change the balance for them. Thanks in advance!

You are showing a metal bracket like our 17-052. This is screwed on the side of the sash. The real problem is how you can get to it. It might be a hassle, since your sashes aren't removable. If you can, just bend the bracket back up into the sash. That would be the easiest solution.
