Installation of 10-216 Shower Door Guide

I purchased 10-216, shower Door Guide. It looks exactly like our original hardware but we cannot figure out how to install it. It seems like it should snap in but it does not. Can you tell me how to install it?

If you are not able to snap it in, you might need to unscrew the rail and slide it into the groove.
