door lock jam

My door lock jams often, and to fix it I have to unscrew the handle and reset it. From all the wear and tear that always seems to happen in the cold, I have broken the threads that catch one of the screws. I think the handle 82-078 is closest to what I need. But from what I am gathering - This wont fix my whole issue because you don't carry the 'guts' of the lock? Or will a new hook possibly fix my issue?

By "guts" if you are referring to our mortise latches, we do in fact have a selection of those on our website. Before we start, I am curious to see the part that has been giving you some trouble. How about uploading a few photos to us and let us have a look to see how we can resolve this for you.
