40-058 for a 3/4" thick door?

The 40-058 looks (and measures) identical to the old set now on the door. But the door is 3/4" thick. Will this work? Can I adapt it by trimming the bolts or spindles? Better yet is there a 3/4" version?

I'm afraid we do not have a handle set like this for a 3/4" thick door. That is very skinny. However, like you said, you may be able to trim the spindles and re-use your old screws.
