modifying drawer track 32-053

Question

I am considering using this track to replace wooden tracks in my daughter's vintage furniture. It says 22" and her tracks are 16". Can they be modified, if so, how do you recommend doing so?

Thanks for posting, Terry. You can use a fine-tooth hacksaw to cut the track down to size.
