drill size for inswing door handle

Normally, they say to use a 1/4" diameter drill bit, but I personally like to use a 5/16" size bit. It's just a little bit larger by 1/16", which I feel gives you a little more wiggle room. At the end of the day, though, it's up to you! You may be more comfortable with the typical 1/4".
