The gears have worn so that the part no longer closes the wooden window. The part number for the main crank is 40372 and its dimensions are almost 5" by about 2 1/16"; the arm or Entry Gard is 30472 and is approximately 9" long. The shorter arm is 20810 and is about 4 1/2" long. It attaches to the window with a 3" part. I will send a photo and please let me know if you need additional information.

Your photos resemble the 39-032 EntryGard operator. Review the dimensions below, paying close attention to the length of the shorter link arm. We also offer the 39-031 opposite-handed version of this assembly. Both parts use the 39-107FK handle and cover kit. Thanks for posting!

That part looks right except that there should be an attachment to the shorter arm that connects to the window itself. The connection to the short arm on the broken assembly I have is a rivet.

The piece connected to the link arm is actually a separate part called a stud bracket. Yours are a similar style to the 39-516 and 39-517. Take a look at the specifications from our product page below.

Viewing your videos, I just figured out how that window part attaches. So please disregard my previous question about the stud bracket. (I'm showing off here. . .;-)

But I need to buy a new plastic cover for the whole unit and am not sure how to research that. Please assist and thanks so very much for the "hand Holding">

No problem. As we mentioned, these operators are used with the 39-107FK folding handle and cover kit shown below.
