My sliders are hard to open and close. Sometimes they rock and stick (hard to pull open/close). I am trying to determine what really needs to be done or replaced. I have questions:
I am assuming the rollers need to be replaced, but can they be adjusted by raising/lowering the roller by the adjustment screws? If so, could that solve the problem?
I am not sure if the aluminum track guide needs a cover... it looks to be in fairly good condition, however if I use my finger and run it along the top of the rail there are very slight differences in the height (I guess you could call them bumps, but they are so slight they are almost hard to feel). So do I need a cover? I am assuming the guide tolerances are not critical to the operation of the door and their purpose is to guide the rollers or keep them in place... shouldn't the rollers be adjusted to be above the guide and not ridding on it.
Trying to learn what to do here. I contacted the company the built/in stalled the Four Season Sunroom and the want to sell me rollers for $220. (2 sets because of the opposing doors). I think the price is ridiculous. HELP PLEASE!
