Question

please see attached photo. The arm is omly 4 1/2" and the holes are 5 " apart.

I could not see anything on the website

Please advise

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not carry a version of this operator with a 4-1/2" arm. The 5" arm of the 39-187 would be the best option that we can offer. This could still work if you do not mind doing a little retrofitting such as possibly moving the position of the mounting brack on the sash or attaching the shorted 4-1/2" arm of the operator to the base arm of the replacement. Review your options and see what you think.
