failed windows

A handy person from North Canton, Ohio says:
This is at my daughter's newly purchased house (built in 1928), so I am not onsite to look further, until I return. There are five windows that the lower sash falls. This one I photographed looks to me that the shoe is broken and needs replaced. I have yet to really look at anything else yet. I could not find any identifying labels to determine the window brand. I am barely just starting my journey to repair the windows, but if you can offer any insight, at this point, I would appreciate it. Thanks

We can definitely help with this. If all you need is a new pivot shoe, then you could start by considering our 15-121. Just going by the physical design of the original, it looks just about identical. However you will need to consider the width and thickness. If those are off by even a little bit, then it won't fit in your track. You have to measure the original to confirm.

Start there and let me know how you do. We also have a few videos that you may find helpful, which I'll associate with this page.
