our home was built in 1978 and the Pella windows are still in great shape. however i have three windows that seem to bind when closing at the last two inches when the bottom of the traveling windows makes conact with the window frame. a small nudge from the out side and the window slides into the winddow frame and the latch can be functional. there is a number 708 cc stamped in lower frame of the window near the cranking device. is there any adjustment that i can make to releive this problem? thank u in advance for your help in this matter.

Thanks for posting! Try this, remove the operator fully and try to close your window manually. If it still binds up on those last few inches, then it may be a problem with the window.

If not, then the crank gear may be stripped out, and you would have to replace the entire operator.
