full replacement of lock/ handle assembly

It?s a DFA storm door, as DFA is stamped on the side of the assembly under the deadbolt. The door works, but both handles are loose and have no springy feeling. So to properly shut the door you have to pull up on the handle, otherwise the latch while never go back to the open position (where it?s sticking out) is there a part to replace this? The deadbolt functions fine.

I'm not sure if we can supply this exact lockset, but look at our 40-049 to start out. This may work for you as a replacement.

Will the 40-049 Lock Set work on a 1.5 Inch Thick Door?

Sure, we've used the 40-049 on 1-1/2" thick doors before. The lever handle can be adjusted to make up for the difference in size.
