Landlord from Saint Johns, FL
Hi !

Awesome service, btw. This is a half inch balance that is 30 inches long. As previous customer, I replaced top sash guide in same window with your part 18-166 (if that helps). Units in pictures is inches.

After looking at available balances on your site, appears that the dimension of shoe might be important to decision. So I am adding two shoe measurements for you. Also in inches.

Hello,

Thanks for posting! It appears the channel balance replacement you need is either the Series 380 with a 1" shoe depth or the Series 385 with a 1-3/32" shoe depth. Keep in mind there is a chance it could measure 7/8"; if so, please let me know, these will need to be a custom assembly.

If the 30" length is the length of the metal channel, excluding the plastic attachments, you'll need either the S380-30 or the S385-30.

To determine which series you have you'll need to confirm the dimension for the depth of your bottom shoe. Unfortunately, the photos you've provided do not include this measurement.

Once you've determined the series, you'll need to select your stamp from the list of options. There should be a stamp/marking on the metal channel. This stamp is what indicates the weight range your balances should be able to hold to support the weight of your sash. If it does not have a stamp, you'll need to obtain the exact sash weight.

There is a chart below the product description for the balances that lists the weight range each stamp can hold.
