handle crank for aluminum awning window

Home Owner from Branchburg, NJ 08853
I purchased awning type windows for a sun porch in 1990 from a company called Permaseal manufacturing corp in Middlesex NJ 08846. They are out of business and I need replacement hardware since mine are discolored and tarnished. Permaseal described the operator as follows: Operator shall be of worm and sector, offset type with heat treated steel gears properly coated. All moving parts nylonized including plated steel torque tube which transfers power equally to actuating mechanisms in both jambs. I have attached pictures of the handle and the operator it fits into.

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see the link arm of your assembly uninstalled, along with a clear view of the installation holes, to narrow down your options. Thank you!

What is the "link arm"? Is it the device that the handle is attached to? Do I need to unscrew it from the window frame and take a picture of it?

The link arm is the part of the operator that connects the assembly to the internal window linkage, which is not visible while it is still installed. You would need to remove the installation screws and detach the link arm, which normally uses a screw or rivet, to show us the entire assembly.
