The handle that I need is identical to your part # 40-138. However, the thickness is for a door not 1 5/8" it's for a thinner door. How can I get a handle like 40-138 for a 1 5/8" thick door?

Hey, Mark. One idea would be to reuse your existing spindle and screws, assuming they are the same diameter. You could also consider something like our 40-130 lever handle. It has the same 1-3/4" mounting hole centers and can be use for a door up to 2-1/4" thick. It just doesn't have a tulip style knob.
