handle to storm door snapped in the cold
I am sure we can help you find a replacement for your storm door latch. Do you just need the inside handle?
Please tell us the distance between the screw holes where your handle is mounted to the door. Does your storm door latch have a locking mechanism?
Hi there, thank you for getting back to me. It's hard to know whether it has a locking mechanism because it is broken. The distance from the screw holes to the edge of the door is 1.25".
Although the outside handle is ok, I would prefer to replace both unless the cost is inhibitory.

Thanks for getting back to us. I think Jody was referring to the distance between the two installation holes in relation to each other not the edge of the door. If I had to wager, I'd say it was probably 1-3/4". That's pretty standard for doors like these.
Could you possibly use something like our 40-034? If not, we have other sets like the 40-152 or even the 40-177 if you wanted a key lock.
