I think your window is Simonton brand, which would explain why the 15-192 that you bought from us didn't work, since it's Certainteed. The 15-192 actually can technically work but it requires a lot of adaptation that most customers I speak to don't really want to do. So, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that Simonton doesn't actually make this coil balance assembly anymore and I don't think you'll find an exact match on the market. The good news is that we have an easier solution. Rather than break it down for you, I recommend that you watch the video below. This is a very thorough step-by-step guide that will tell you exactly what parts you need, how they work, and how you need to install them. |
