help me identify the balance and the guide

The balance looks like our Series 390-28 (2740). The top sash guide I don't recognize. I would need dimensions, but look at our 18-008 as a possible replacement.

Please help me identify the channel balance and the top sash guide I need to order. The top sash guides are 2 inches long. The channel balance have the number 2740 stamped on it. Pictures 1 & 2 are of the top sash guides, pictures 3 & 4 are for the balance tops, and pictures 5 & 6 are pictures of the balance shoes.

The top sash guide is 2" long, 5/8" wide and 9/16" deep. The first screw hole is 3/8" from the top. Does the shape of the guide affect its function?

Not necessarily, as long the width and depth match you should be fine.

If I use the 18-008 part 1/4" of the top sash guide will be sticking out. The hole where I put the screw on is 5/16 from the top. The profile is 1/2" on the top section and 1/4" on the bottom section. Is 18-008 still my best replacement or do you have another alternative?
