help on choosing the right sprial balance

I need to replace the old spiral balances on the tilt-window in my house. It looks to me that series 900 is what I need, but I cannot find the right color tip. The current old spiral balance is very dirty and hard to tell what the color is. It looks like the color to dark gray.

45 pounds is very heavy, and there is no variation of the S900-34 that can support that kind of weight. Please confirm the weight of the sash and the diameter of the balance tube to be absolutely sure. If you want, you can send us a few pictures of your balance and we can try to make something out.
