help replacing my glazing

A home owner from Phoenix, AZ says:
I really need some help with my vinyl snap in window glazing beads. I have 15 year old Alenco aluminum windows. I am currently removing the glazing on a south facing window and it is breaking out in shards due to sun damage. I am getting solar screens installed soon but am having difficulty identifying the profile for the replacement bead because it comes out in shards? The snap in portion appears to have two narrow channels, the bead color is beige or gray and seems to measure 3/4 in across on the finished side facing out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting. I think you should start by looking at our 55-164. Carefully examine it and see if you could use this as a replacement for your existing glazing.
