help with parts id

Question

need you help figuring out what parts I need. windows don't stay open. you can see the coils have separated on right side of window

also it doesn't seem the window wants to come out. can you tell from these pictures if the window is removable or is it possible it tilts but doesn't come out?

Hello! You can remove your window, yes. All tilt windows like this are made to come out. When you tilt it in, make sure to twist your window in the same motion to free it from the shoes. The goal is to have one corner higher than the other during the tilt motion, otherwise there won't be enough room for the pivot bars to come out of the shoe.

As for the balance assembly itself, I believe you need our Series 180. This is commonly used with the 15-087 pivot carrier (sold separately). That appears to be what you have but you won't know for sure until you remove the old hardware. That should be your next step.
