Hi,
Please assist with which parts I need for tilt windows. The upper spiral balance is 26" (from metal tube edge to edge) and the lower sash is 29". I believe the width is a bit more than 1/2" wide with a red tip. That would be Series 600?
The tubes and parts are fairly covered with grease. Is that a sure signal they are dead?
I see you have two tension chargers what are the pros/cons?
I think I need to replace a few of the shoes, I am not sure which is needed. I can tell the part is white but i think a few are in two pieces.
thanks in advance.

Thank you for posting! Could you confirm the diameter of the spiral tube? Our spiral balances usually come in either 3/8", or 5/8", not 1/2". You may have to remove the spiral balance from the window in order to get an accurate measurement. As for the grease, it's actually a good thing. You want these balances to be lubricated so that they can work properly.
To be honest, I can't really think of any cons for our spiral charging tools. They are easy to use, simple in design, and superior to any other method of spiral charging. Finally, for the shoes, unfortunately this type has been discontinued and we have been unable to find a proper replacement. I apologize for the inconvenience. |

I do believe you have a Series 600 balance; I also recognize the pivot shoe and it is discontinued however, compare the width and depth to our 15-047, pivot shoe, this might make a good substitute.
