horizontal sliding window plastic rollers

Home Owner from dublin, california
Hi.

The attached pictures show a single plastic roller (photos 2,3 and 4) and casing (photo 1) from the bottom of a 20 year old Viking window that doesn't show a model number. The extracted roller is very well worn.

Help with a model number of the roller would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello! Let's start by comparing the entire assembly to our 87-190. Is it the same? If not, let me know how it differs.

Paul.

Your 87-190 look promising. The dimensions look OK, but I need to pop the assembly out of the window to see if the shape of the assembly is the same.
The axle of the wheel I extracted is plastic not stainless steel; the plastic wheel simply fell out. Does the assembly just pull out? I will need to gather help because the window needs to be removed again and is very heavy, so please do not close this thread for inactivity.

Thank you very much.

Yes, the nylon housing snaps in the opening in the sliding sash, and you can pop it out with a small screwdriver. You want to slip the screwdriver in the little cut out on the end of the wheel housing and force the housing out.
