how to install 58-182

Question

I bought 58-182 weatherstrip for the bottom of double hung windows. The track it slides into is closed at both ends. How do I install it?

Thanks for posting. Sounds like you have a welded window sash. With a sharp utility knife, you'll have to carefully open one end of the groove to slide in the weather strip, and then crip one of the the grooves to prevent the weatherstripping from sliding out.
